Patra Atlas Semarang IPB

Assalamu'alaikum ukhty... wkwk

Hi, guys! Holiday is coming. Congratulation who got A in your exam, for the one who didn't get it, like my self don't be sad because it isn't the end of your life. Btw... Why the title of this post is Patra Atlas Semarang IPB? 

Alright, actually it's a long story why I can join in this organization.

I would like to introduce what Patra actually is. Patra Atlas is one of omda (Organisasi Mahasiswa Daerah) or it is an organization that represent each region where students from. When I came in IPB at the first time, me and how surprise I'm that it also happen to all Patra's members. We were wondering why most of our friends gathered with their omda but we weren't. Additionally at that time, we didn't have any idea about what omda is. Then, I really hope that there will be an omda from Semarang. 

I begun my searching in Internet and because a lot of information start from registration, and announcement comes from twitter, then I decided to type omda Semarang in twitter. Wow, it's working. I found a twitter named Patra IPB there. Next, I'm trying to mention to that account where should I go if I want to join this omda, but there was no answer. So, I looked at the followers and I found a person named Rodhiyah, and I see the profile that she was from Smansangar. Eventually my searching is having a result. 

While in the class, in my first meeting of matriculation I found a person named Jasmine in the introduction. I was shocked and happy to hear that it's not only me who came from Semarang. After the class, I had a little conversation with her, then she said that there were five people who accepted in IPB from her high school, unfortunately one of them is not origin from Semarang. However, yeah patra member will increase.

Time goes by until we had a little meeting with senior and I knew who are actually complete member of Patra. After that meeting, we as new member of Patra held another meetings whether only to know each other better and also having little serious meeting like how to organize Patra to be an active organization, Then, we also decided that Ilham as a Leader of Patra 52, and Rodhi as secretary, and me as a treasurer. Why me? Ha..ha... 

I don't know that this organization will be an extraordinary, more than usual. Here, we came from the same place, the same tradition. We are easy to know each other better. I realize that there presence in my life is lifting up my strength to face a hard world in a new environment. They also make me feel that I'm not that far from my home because I still can speak Javanese.

Our life which full of wonderful stories will not enough to be written in this limit post. Honestly, I'm happy to have them in my life. We are often to have chat, to make a joke and we bully each other, and the best also freak part is we are talking about wedding or soul mate in the future. Ha...ha.. 

  

We will have our new and biggest event in this month which is called Canvassing. In this event we invite some of high school in Semarang and it's surrounding. Firtst, we had an experience in Campus Expo in SMAN 1 Ungaran. Then, we had a presentation and Campus Expo in SMAN 10 Semarang. We done it very well.

 In 30th of January 2016, we are going to have a canvassing in Aula SMAN 1 Semarang. We are here to have a socialization about IPB for high school students. How nervous we are as the day is getting closer. We have already prepare everything since we still in campus before our final examination. We got a budget from IPB and we will have an adorable speaker, he is Mr. Yusli.

Meanwhile when we were having a socialization, we were having fun. We ate and had chit chat there. As always, we had lot of laugh and it increases my happiness instead of my sadness because the steak is not really delicious and costly.

 Usually some of us will go home together by train. We will go to Pasar Senin and will end in Poncol Statiun. Argh... you will know how bad are them when they fall asleep.

We had a plan to take a picture of all Patra 52 members, but some of us could not come at that time.

We are Best friend, just it.
