There are a lot of options to have refreshment in Semarang
regency. If you want to enjoy the beauty of those cities and are confuse where
to visit, just take a look at these places. It has varies places to go through.
It varies from nature vacation until the ancient one.
1. Candi Gedong Songo ( Temple of nine buildings )
Location: Desa Candi, Bandungan, Semarang
Haha… This is the place where I found
“Bule”, a term to call western people. In that time, I went there with my
sister and her husband. We were very tiring at that time because we have to
climb hills in order to find all nine temples as they are separated. However
don’t worry guys, because you can rent a horse with the guide. These Hindu
temples were built in mount of Ungaran. When we’re in the journeys of
searching, the natures serve the beautiful scenery of this mountain.

Location: Desa Sidomukti, Bandungan, Semarang

Watu Gunung
Location: Dusun Soka Desa Lerep, Ungaran
Barat.
This one is still in my village. I can
reach this place for only more or less 15 minutes by foot. Do you want to get
married in this year? I recommend you to rent this place. Just think out of the
box to hold your marriage. Don’t get rigid to always use building. Just enjoy
the beauty of my village. J

Swimming Pool
We have a lot of swimming pool surrounding
place where I live. We have Water boom in Mapagan, Siwarak, and swimming pool
in Balai Lerep Indah (Si Cowek) . If you just want swim and have low budget, I
recommend you to choose Balai Lerep Indah one.
5. Center of gift
Do somebody want to miss this ? I think no unless they are backpacker who want to save more money rather than to spend it for only buying a special gift from the place they just visited. It's normal that we can always find this place in the place that we visit.
I recommend you to come to Center of crispy chips in Karangbolo, Ungaran Barat. Here, we can find many variations of it. Then, we can also buy the special food from Ungaran which is Tahu Baxo, a food made from tofu filled with meat ball. This kind of food is easy to get, but don't worry, Ungaran has Tahu Baxo Ibu Pudji and Tahu Baxo Woning which are easy to find in map.
7. Palagan Ambara Monument and The Ambarawa Railway Museum
Enjoy the fantastic of this city by enjoying the old steam locomotive which was built in Dutch time. Ha...ha... I actually didn't remember all the things here because I visited this place when I was kid. I only remember that although we should pay more to rent but the journey on this steam train is unforgettable. However in Palagan Ambarawa, we can also see the story of Palagan Ambarawa war when Indonesia fight ally.
